The meter app is free: connect, read, log, run the starter test sequences and export CSV, Excel and PDF, with no time limit and no trial. Pro is a one-time purchase for your own procedures. Cloud is a subscription for sync and the web app, and it includes Pro while it runs. Both are bought in the app on the App Store and Google Play, and the app shows the price in your currency before you buy. The amounts are in the comparison below.

Free
Everything on your phone is free, signed in or not. That includes the live meter, logging and the calculator with its preset formulas and the Cal Box. The ten starter templates run as often as you like, and so do templates and test files other people send you. CSV, Excel and PDF exports are free. The test file library, sign-in, exporting all your data and deleting your account are free too. With a free account, your settings, instruments, templates and formulas are backed up, so a new phone is ready in a minute. Without an account, every free feature works.
Pro: pay once, keep it
Pro is for your own procedures: building and editing templates, pin-table import, custom formulas, formulas inside templates and the live derived panel, amending a finished test file and starting the next unit, and your company header and logo on reports. Cloud: a subscription for sync
Cloud is a monthly or yearly subscription. It syncs everything across your devices, including photos and other attachments, and it gives you the web app. Cloud includes Pro for as long as it is active, so you do not need to buy both.
How it is sold
Pro and Cloud are bought in the iPhone or Android app. The prices in the comparison below are the App Store prices for this market. The store sets the price you pay, and the app shows it in your currency before you buy. There is no web checkout, and Family Sharing is off, so a purchase belongs to one Apple ID or Google account. When you are signed in, what you bought follows your account to your other devices, including from iPhone to Android. You can restore purchases from the paywall. The paywall never appears on launch, mid-capture or during a run.
Your data is never held hostage
If Cloud ends, everything stays on your phone, and every finished test file and log stays viewable and exportable as CSV, Excel and PDF. A Pro you bought stays yours. If your Pro came only with Cloud, the Pro features lock again until you buy Pro or renew Cloud: your own templates stay visible, but creating, editing and running them, custom formulas, amending and your report header wait. Sync stops, and data already synced stays viewable on the server.
