Terms of use
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are an agreement between you and Blaris ApS (CVR DK41627328, Hvidegårdsparken 42, 2800 Kongens Lyngby, Denmark; support@testnmeasure.app). Blaris ApS publishes the TestNMeasure apps for iPhone and Android and is the trader named on their App Store and Google Play listings. The terms cover the apps, the web app at app.testnmeasure.app and this website. By using any of them you accept these terms.
2. Your licence and your data
- We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use TestNMeasure for your own private or professional work.
- Don't reverse-engineer, resell or interfere with the service, the web app or the API, except where the law expressly allows it.
- You keep ownership of everything you create: readings, test files, templates, notes, photos and voice notes. We use them only to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy policy.
3. Pre-release (beta) versions
Pre-release versions are distributed through TestFlight and Google Play testing tracks, at first to internal testers only and to wider testing groups later. Pre-release software may contain bugs, and features may change or be removed before release. Exporting your data is always available.
4. TestNMeasure Pro subscriptions
- Pro is an optional monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically. It is sold and billed by Apple or Google, and the price is shown in the store before you buy.
- Family Sharing is not available for Pro.
- You manage auto-renewal and cancellation in your App Store or Google Play account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.
- Refunds follow the policy of the store you bought from. Your EU right of withdrawal is handled by that store.
- If Pro lapses, you can still open every record and export it as CSV.
5. Measurements and safety (important)
- The app displays and records what your meter sends. The accuracy of a measurement is the accuracy of your meter.
- You set the pass/fail limits. A pass or fail in the app is the result of your limits applied to your readings.
- A test file is a record of what you measured. It is not a certification, a calibration certificate or a document of regulatory compliance.
- Use a meter and test leads rated for the job (the CAT category of IEC 61010), and follow your local rules for live or high-voltage work. TestNMeasure doesn't change how your meter works.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on readings shown or recorded in the app.
6. Third-party meters
We support meters made by other companies on a best-effort basis, and only after testing them on real hardware. TestNMeasure is not affiliated with or endorsed by OWON or any other meter maker. OWON and other product names are trademarks of their owners.
7. Files you share
You are responsible for the templates (.tnmt) and test files (.tnmr) you share. Don't share someone else's confidential procedures or data without their permission.
8. Acceptable use of the web app and API
Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break in or overload it, no scraping, and no automated account creation. We may suspend an account that does.
9. Availability
Sync and the web app are provided "as is". We make a reasonable effort to keep them running but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The offline features of the apps don't depend on them.
10. Liability and law
- To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to direct losses and capped at the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or DKK 500 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
- These terms are governed by Danish law. For business users, the courts of Copenhagen have jurisdiction. Consumers may also use the courts of their own country.
